New York State Launches NY Forward Loan Fund
April 3, 2020New York state has announced a $100 million loan fund, of which $4 million will be lent in the Southern Tier, the region where Delaware County resides. Loans are for small businesses (with 20 or fewer employees,) non-profits and some landlords. The pre-application portal opens Mat 26 at noon and will be reviewed by Community Development Financial Institutions around the state starting June 1.

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans for Small Businesses

January 31, 2020Delaware County Industrial Development Agency is issuing a Request for Proposals for leasing, buying and developing a property near the corner of Meredith Street and Main Street in Delhi. The property is about 18,500 square feet and has access to State Route 10, State Route 28 and Downtown Delhi.

WDB Announces New Local Job Search Resource
January 28, 2020The Workforce Development Board of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties (WDB/HMO) now offers a local job search link on its website. This valuable new resource allows you to input job titles and search available positions in real-time in six counties: Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Chenango, Delaware and Otsego. The resource also shows a running total of jobs currently available in each of these counties.

In First Half of 2019, Delaware County Creates Jobs, Supports Economy
August 26, 2019DELHI, NEW YORK—The Delaware County Department of Economic Development announced today that through the first half of 2019 it has provided 26 businesses with $1.58 million of financial assistance. These funds were utilized to stimulate $5.48 million of new private sector investment and will result in the creation of 96 full time jobs within the county.

Delaware County Tourism Funds Grant Programs
January 3, 2019DELHI, NEW YORK- The Delaware County Tourism Advisory Board is now accepting applications for funding under the Tourism Promotion & Development Grant program. This program will provide funding assistance to eligible applicants for projects that seek to attract visitors to Delaware County and enhance the overall tourism industry. Applications for grant assistance under this program must be hand-delivered to the Delaware County Department of Economic Development or postmarked by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.
