Delaware County’s Success is Their Business
The Delaware County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) Board of Directors held their annual reorganizational meeting on Friday, Jan. 26.
Officers, unanimously elected to one year terms, include Jim Thomson as Chairman, Scott White as Vice-Chairman, Bruce Dolph as Treasurer and George Bergleitner as Secretary.
The goal of the IDA is to enhance the county’s economic vitality by offering expertise, financial assistance and continued support to existing and new businesses. The IDA continues to focus on community revitalization, economic diversification through technology, redevelopment and enhancement of the tourism industry, promotion of agricultural and natural resource industries and development of sites for new manufacturing and commercial enterprises.
The Delaware County IDA holds a monthly meeting, open to the public, on the fourth Friday of the month, at 11 a.m. at the Delaware County eCenter, 5 1/2 Main Street, Delhi.
